Using image references and body copy supplied by the client, I was to create a rock'n roll inspired invitation for the clients engagement party. Typeface and font were chosen by myself with the entire work, illustration included rendered in Photoshop. The mood for this piece was inspired heavily from movie posters. The header and footer uses Boldini 72, the thin, sharp lettering references thrillers such as American Psycho. The title calls back to B-grade horror films to tie in the zombie imagery.
Retro colours, fonts and minimalism mixed with my brand of illustration were the brief. A special request from the venue to produce signage was requested later in the project.
